Players Welcome and Official Draw of
Tournaments
The CTSC will welcome fellow ASA
members with homemade cuisine, beer
and soda. The Taylor Household will be
the site of the event.
Sat 6/14 - 9:00 AM in Hartford
Players pre-competition
meeting/practice at the Vernon Social
Center at 114 Vernon Street.
After a few minutes of practice, the
2003 ASA National Championship will
see its flick-off at 10:00 AM, when
WTSL's Rick Wilcox will be defending
his title of US Champion from the
attack of 17 other players.
Sat 6/14 - 7:30 PM in Hartford
Players will meet at the Constitution
Plaza for the 21st annual "Taste of
Hartford", with food, drinks, live
music, people and, hopefully, no rain!
Sun 6/15 - 8:00 AM in Hartford
Players pre-competition
meeting/practice at the Vernon Social
Center.
In this tournament, the Connecticut
Cup (trophy sponsored by Dave
Baxter's World Table Soccer), the local
host will celebrate 2 years of Subbuteo
in New England! The tournament will
start as early as 9:00 AM to allow
out-of-town players to drive back home
and celebrate Father's Day with their
families.
Tentatively, Connecticut will see the
birth of a new ASA competition:
the National Championship for Clubs!
