Connecticut Cup Final

Miguel Marques 1-3 Massimo Conturso
Farmington, CT

Massimo Conturso seems to have shaken off the losing streak in ASA
finals as he claims his 2nd straight ASA tournament and overall 3rd
mid-Summer regional title.
Decisive has surely been the switch to the Super Footy figures by
World Table Soccer, that gave the Italian's rather-than-soft touch more
stability.

The weekend has been very busy as the Club reached important goals
and difficult decisions. The State League has arrived to the last
chapter, the Playoffs, to be played on August 3rd. Mig Marques was
the Pennant winner by GD over Conturso, who bounced back on
Sunday to win his 3rd consecutive State Cup for a prestigious double.
Unfortunately, no SCC players will attend the upcoming US National
Championships in St.Louis. In this regard, the Club wish all the best to
our North Atlantic mates, the Maryland Subbuteo Club.
