The Curse lives on.
Another disappointing travel for Conturso who keeps outplaying opponents and missing
great chances for scoring. This time, the cursed match was the semifinal against Gregg
Deinhart, that Gregg managed to win 2-0 with two jaw-dropping shots, one in each
half. In between and all around, steady and productive possession by the Italian, whose
shots found nothing but posts and brilliant saves by the Virginian.

Eddie Davidson played yet another MJ Final, aka Benjamin Franklin Championship Match
in Delaware. Unfortunately, he found on his way a strong Daniel Cranston, who keeps
collecting important wins against fellow senior players. Walton & Luis Silva are already on
his personal list. Who will be next?

The tournament saw great performance by the U19 players. Four qualified to the KO
stage, two of them were our Ostap Mishtal & Jeff Davidson.
Jeff confirmed his progress by defeating Cranston and holding Paul Eyes to a 2-1 game
until the last second in Group Stage. He then fell to Gregg Deinhart in the Quarter
Finals.
Ostap had his best tournament ever as he qualified for the first time and got
confidence boost by his Group Stage wins against Andrew Zunino (4-0) and Steven
Laskey (1-0).

The event was the first ever ASA competiton in Delaware and a great success for the
hosting club, Philly SFS, represented by local Steven Laskey, Ted Koziara & Andrew
Zunino.
