Old Subbuteo Club "Punicum"
Rome, Italy
What's Old Subbuteo?
Well, it's self-explanatory, isn't it?!
Many are the people turning away from the
other Beautiful Game by the politics of FISTF
and the "official" accessories pandemonium,
and finally finding a calm port in the good old
days of Subbuteo.
The rules are simple: everything goes as long
as it's old! Old accessories, old rules, but also a
sane desire to show how time can be cheated
by still playing the same game we used to play
when we were children.
That's what pushed our Francesco Codraro
toward the Santa Marinella, Rome-based club,
after his brief stint with the Fiamme Azzurre
TSC.
"Ban-dito" seems to have found that renewed
enthusiasm for the game that table soccer
couldn't deliver after a promising beginning.
His skills and gentleman-like approach made
him a club's favorite and an instant winner. He
recently claimed 4th place (while wearing the
All-Blacks colors!) at the Tuttosport
sponsored, Coverciano Tournament that was
hosted in the same prestigious sports center
which is known as the Azzurri Headquarter in
the beautiful land of Tuscany.
The beautiful set-up in Coverciano.
