While the rest of the gang was busy finishing the inaugural CONNECTICUT
LEAGUE, five of our club's members gave the welcome to 11th member
SERGIO SENSINI from Milan, Italy!
Sergio is an old-school guy and decided to pass over the Hasbro's bases and
use LW Celtic Glasgow, instead of his own HWs, still in some boxes in
Wallingford. The results were impressive: 3 goals-for and same points of Cup's
keeper, Luis Silva! In the other group, Eddie gave up another goal in the last
two fatal minutes and left Rick the chance to play the 28th Challenge in a
Marques Family Derby against his big brother Miguel. The final was quite
intense. Rick tried to defeat Miguel for the first time, but the experienced
Portuguese played well, won 2-1 and claimed his 4th Challenge Cup title!
