Miguel Marques is the new CTSC's Champion! The Portuguese
defeated Massimo Conturso in an extremely intense final (1-0)
and brought the Trophy home for the first time. It certainly
was a well deserved victory for Marques, who went close to
win the Cup several times in the past few months (the last
time on June 24th, again against the Italian).

It has been the first time for Massimo Conturso, too: this final has
been his first official loss in the Club's competitions. The Roman
played a very good game, keeping possession of the ball and testing
the excellent skills of Miguel as goalie ..as well as the stability of the
woodworks! But, when only 2 minutes were left to play, Marques
scored the goal that all the table-footballers dream to score: long
pass from his own penalty box, precise shot on goal on the far post,
with the ball in the net after a perfect parabola! With the final
victory, the Lusitano finished the tournament with the perfect
record of 4-0-1 and 4-0 on goals (best defense).
