The Fantastic Four from Farmington traveled south to
Wallingford, scored 37 goals in 16 games and claimed
the inaugural OLDE OAK TEAM CUP!
9 wins against 6 (+ 1 tie); 28 points to 19; 37-18 on goals:
it looks like it was an easy night for the double couple. It
was actually true battle at the Olde Oake Village among
the 8 players on 3 pitches. Farmington was able to take
full advantage from the great performances by Eddie
Davidson and Roberto Conturso, respectively 2 and 3
(out of 4) wins. Davidson Sr played well but lost the first
two matches against Wallingford's top players. He was
outstanding in the 3rd and 4th Round, when he claimed
two wins with total 4-0 on goals!
Roberto showed once again his skills. After a loss with
Miguel on a 1-0 decision, Conturso Jr won the remaining
3 games scoring 6 goals against 2.
Wallingford/West Haven had a great night, but suffered
from the flu virus spreading among their players.
