| II OLDE OAK TEAM CUP July 9, 2003 |

| The Wallingford/West Haven Team took their revenge as they defeated Farmington 7-5 in the 2nd seasonal Olde Oak Team Cup. Star of the night was the host, Miguel Marques, who finished the competition undefeated as he tied Massimo 1-1 in the opening match and won 3 with a 10-0 on goals. The Connecticut Table Soccer Club, while waiting for Jim Taylor (cracked fingernail: 15 days in DL) and Sergio Sensini (a few days away from his return from Europe), saluted the 13th official member: PABLO LEE from Farmington, CT. The Korean-Argentine youngster just started to play Subbuteo as he was introduced by soccer teammate, Jeff Davidson, but already showed great reflexes on goals and powerful shots. It's just a matter of time before this young table-footballer will join more expert players in national competitions. WELCOME ABOARD, PABLITO! |
