Eddie Davidson: will he lead the SCC to Saint
Louis to defend the National title ?
In the first Challenge Cup without
Portuguese players since the 62nd edition
on August 2005, the Club lives a
contradictory evening.
Farmington High School grads, Jeff Davidson
& Ostap Mishtal share funny stories from
recent celebrations and college orientations;
Jim Taylor rejoins his club mates for the first
time in June and reaches his 13th Challenge,
first since September 2006.
On the other side, Massimo Conturso is
forced to declare forfeit from the upcoming
National Championships in Saint Louis, a
painful decision that could lead to a chain
reaction among the other All-Blacks.
The 82nd Challenge Cup sees another Italian
victory, the 58th for Conturso, that comes
after his 11th straight final and 4th
consecutive shutout performance.
