Just like the photo, SCC appear slightly
'out of focus' at this moment.
In the last 2 weeks, the club had the first
silverwareless Mid-Atlantic weekend in ages
(if not ever); saw Eddie & Jeff Davidson
making their definitive move to Alabama;
reached historical low in attendance with
only 3 available players in back-2-back
meetings (the March 21st session was called
off).
Conflicts of dates, personal & family
commitments are also diluting the activity at
the FPD, and no tournaments will be held
until the July-August period.
A change of direction seems to be
necessary.
Meanwhile, in an uninspiring evening in
Wallingford, Massimo Conturso takes the 3rd
straight Challenge against Miguel Marques
(first time since Cup #16, August 6, 2002),
and claims his 11th consecutive title,
matching his own all-time record that lasted
since Cup #11, July 5, 2002.
