Jim vs. Miguel: the mother of all rivalries.

THE CURSE OF THE REX-C BASES

Massimo's infatuation for the Rex-C bases
lasted about 3 weeks. That's how long it
went between a 4-1 win over Miguel at the
end of February and the unprecedented
back-to-back losses to JT in this March
madness.

Jim's winning streak was built on a careful
possession, a strong defense and a spare
goalie mistake by Massimo with 58 seconds
to time! The incriminated figure was
mounting a Rex-C base that was picked for
the bright blue color. That was the only
Rex-C Massimo had on the pitch as he
already switched back to his Profi after the
91st Cup's debacle.

As an out-of-bound force was attempted,
the ball had the funniest bounce on Jim's
figure, stayed in play and lined up perfectly
for an open net shot that Jim turned into a
goal.

The curse continued for the remaining
seconds as Massimo hit a post with a long
shot.

The set of bases will be for sale shortly.

Jim is rumored to be interested as he
started beating Massimo since he switched
from Astrobases to Rex-C..
