93rd: the Comeback edition
In the night of another major Fenway Park
comeback by the Red Sox (from 0-7 to 10-8
against the Baltimore Orioles), Boston fans
Miguel, Rick and Massimo met in Wallingford to
resume the club activity after a month of
hiatus.
While the title holder scored no goals
throughout the night, the 93rd Challenge
Cup was characterized by comebacks of the
Marques brothers.
Rick, who won group stage, played a brilliant
match against Miguel and came back from a
temporary 1-2 loss to an extraordinary 4-2 win
in just a few minutes.
Despite an unbelievable long distance goal to
Rick, Miguel was forced to start his playoffs
campaign from the semifinals. There he tuned
up his defense and finished strong by claiming
his 16th title in his 7th consecutive final.
