Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Rick was introduced to
Subbuteo at a very young age. His cousins Luis and Frank, also
members, tried to get him to play although he really didn't know
what he was doing, being 6 years old! He didn't play again for
approximately 15 years. His renewed interest is attributed to his
brother Miguel's persistence to get him to open the eyes to the
beauty and enjoyment of the Game. He is very grateful to him
now. Rick is 26 years old and residing in Meriden, working full time
as a painter. His love of the real game extends to the Portuguese
National Team and Benfica.
